How Get Me A Techie works

We're the broker in the middle. Techies stay anonymous, companies stay undisturbed, and contact details only ever change hands after a signed agreement — so introductions start with real interest, not cold outreach.

For techies
  1. 1

    Upload your CV

We turn it into an anonymous profile — your skills, experience and salary band, with your name and contact details kept private. You review and approve it before anything goes live.

  2. 2

    Get discovered — anonymously

Companies browse your profile and roles under a handle like “Techie #1042”. Toggle your “Actively looking” badge on or off whenever you like. No inbox full of cold recruiter messages.

  3. 3

    Accept an introduction

When a company wants to talk — or you apply to a role — nothing is shared until you say yes. You stay in control of who sees your details.

  4. 4

    Details shared only after signing

The company signs a placement agreement first. Only then do your name and contact details change hands — never before.

For companies
  1. 1

    Post roles for free

Upload a job description and we draft a polished, anonymous advert. No subscriptions, no listing fees, no per-seat pricing.

  2. 2

Browse a growing pool of techies

Search vetted, anonymous profiles by skill, seniority, location and more. Everyone is real; nobody is being spammed by ten other agencies.

  3. 3

    Request an introduction

Found someone you like? Request an introduction. The techie chooses to accept — so every conversation starts with genuine mutual interest.

  4. 4

Sign, then pay only if you hire

Sign the placement agreement to receive full contact details. If you go on to hire, it’s a flat 10% of first-year salary. If you don’t, you pay nothing.
